The open joint-stock company Baltic Hypothecary Corporation is one of the major mortgage lending companies of Russia, developing its business in the Northwestern District and other regions of the country. It is the official representative of the Agency for Housing Mortgage Lending (AIZhK) created by the Government of the Russian Federation. The key area of AIZhK’s activities is ensuring the liquidity of Russia’s commercial banks providing long-term housing loans to people, through purchasing the legal claims under such loans for funds raised by floating Agency’s bonds in the stock market. Being a service agent of AIZhK, the Baltic Hypothecary Corporation participates in implementing the national project «Affordable and Comfortable Housing to Citizens of Russia» and facilitates the formation of hypothecation as a mass product stimulating the growth of the solvent demand for housing.
The holding company is the principal shareholder of the Corporation. Relying on the powerful financial base and experience of the holding company, the Baltic Hypothecary Corporation is increasing the volume of its financial activities and intensively developing a network of branches, covering more and more cities of Russia.
