A. Drozdenko, Governor of Leningrad Region, Appreciates Setl City’s Work in the Seven Capitals Residential Estate
2015 september 01
Today, on September 1, A.Yu. Drozdenko, Acting Governor of Leningrad Region, has visited the Seven Capitals residential estate and seen the kindergarten and school that have been built in it. The head of the regional government has expressed a high opinion of the results of Setl City’s work; among other things, he has noted the brilliant quality of the construction and interior décor of the comprehensive school that has been built the Vienna estate: “The design of this school is very interesting, it is very up-to-date and has excellent technical aids and a multipurpose gym that could be envied by any sports school," Alexander Drozdenko said.
In the building of the new school the acting Governor has taken part in the ceremony of signing the Commissioning Certificate and the first Roadmap in Leningrad Region for handing over a site from a developer to a municipal entity. According to the agreement, the school will be handed over for gratuitous use to the administration of the municipal entity Vsevolozhsk Municipal District of Leningrad Region till 15.11.2015.
The signing ceremony took place in the assembly hall, which is one of the most beautiful spaces of the new school, and this is very symbolic: about two years ago, in a similar hall of the Vsevolozhsk House of Culture, the agreement between Setl City and the administration of Leningrad Region on cooperation under the program “Social Facilities in Exchange for Taxes” was signed. Setl City has become the first developer accredited by the regional government under the program.
Setl City has built the school for 600 pupils for less than 2 years. The ceremony of breaking ground for the educational institution took place in the fall of 2013 with the participation of the regional government. The school is situated in a picturesque part of the area, near the landscaped embankment of a tributary of the Okkervil river. The color concept of the school’s façade matches the general style of the Vienna estate: it is impressive and original. The houses surrounding the school are distinguished by the same abundance of colors, original artistic solutions and art objects in the form of reproductions of paintings on the shorter sides of the buildings.
All in all, Setl City will build 7 kindergartens and 2 schools in the Seven Capitals residential estate under the Social Facilities in Exchange for Taxes program.
