2018 may 15
Russia’s first Family Adaptation Center was ceremonially opened in Building 5 of the ZimaLeto residential complex on Prospekt Energetikov. The center will help adoptive families and children without parental support. The ceremony was attended by Georgiy Poltavchenko, Governor of St. Petersburg. The Family Adaptation Center project was implemented jointly by LSR Group and the Children Are Waiting charity foundation for children without parental support. The Center’s goal is preparing adoptive families and support to families adopting children from an orphanage. Social workers will attend parents and work with preschool and school-age children. Building 5, with a space suited for a rehab center, was commissioned in the summer of 2017. The center has halls for lectures and trainings, art therapy and sensor integration rooms, psychological and adaptive counseling rooms, and halls for sports and theatrical activities. The ZimaLeto neighborhood is a joint project of LSR Group and the Setl Group holding. The project developer is Setl City. The residential part of the complex will be completed this year, as four buildings of five have already been commissioned. The construction of a school and a kindergarten designed for 450 and 190 children respectively is going on. The exclusive broker of the ZimaLeto project is Petersburg Real Estate.
