The opening of the school became a long-awaited event for residents of West Murino; it will receive 1175 children of different ages. This means 47 classes, of which 21 are primary school. The children will study in an up-to-date building equipped with everything necessary to gain knowledge and develop creative abilities. It is planned to open natural science classes in the school, with advanced learning of chemistry, physics, and biology. The new building has an event hall for 705 persons, and a library with a media center and a reading room subdivided into areas of individual work, group studies, and a lecture room. The school has woodwork and metalworking workshops, and a cookery and housekeeping room. The physical education block includes a larger and a smaller gym, and a gym for limited mobility students. For students’ recreation, psychological relief rooms and playrooms are provided. A sports area is provided in the school yard, with football, volleyball, and basketball pitches, a race track, a jumping field, and active games grounds. Plants and shrubs have been planted. Murino Education Center No. 2 is the third school as yet built by Setl City. Another one, for 1375 pupils, opened on September 1 in the Sunny City residential area in Krasnoselsky District. And the general education school in Kudrovo designed for 600 children has been working since September 1, 2016.
