2014 october 22
In the third quarter of this year the company made about 5,800 transactions, which is exceeds St. Petersburg Realty’s volume of sales in the second quarter of 2014 by 22%.
According to Oleg Pashin, CEO of CPD Petersburg Real Estate, the third quarter saw a stable demand for housing under construction. “As compared to the short May and the “lukewarm” (as concerns sales) June, the subsequent July, August and September were very active,” he says. “While in May and June we sold about 1,600 apartments in new houses per month, in July we made 2,050 transactions in the new construction market, which resembles the feverish February. In August and September, buying activity was stable, and the sales volume was around 2,000 apartments per month. At the time of the falling ruble, real estate remains a reliable means of saving."
Besides, from May to October 2014 new interesting projects were offered for sale and they have become popular among buyers of apartments in new buildings. They are residential estates of Setl City: Chistoye Nebo (Clear Sky) and Solnechny Gorod (Sun City), as well as Kraski Leta (Colors of Summer) from Polis group of companies and Shuvalovsky from LSR. Realty Northwest, and other sites.
