Setl City Commissions The Residence RE on Vasilyevsky Island
2016 july 28
Setl City (a company of Setl Group) has obtained the permission to commission The Residence business-class residential estate at 64, Maly Prospekt of Vasilyevsky Island. In autumn this year, the first tenants will start to move in. The last 25 apartments are still available for sale. The exclusive broker is Petersburg Real Estate.
The estate comprises two residential buildings about 54, 000 sq. m in the aggregate area, 8 and 9 storeys in height. There are 435 apartments, a car-park for 300 cars, a kindergarten for 45 kids, storerooms, and integrated commercial spaces.
A distinguishing feature of The Residence will be a special landscaping project, which, apart from greenery planting, aesthetic night lighting of the façades, playgrounds for children and sports grounds, also provides for creating art objects. Thus, frescoes with images of nature will be painted on the concrete and brick walls that serve as the area’s boundary on the western side. The total area of the “street paintings” will be about 500 sq. m.
The Residence RE has been built on the former industrial area, where the SET transformer substation factory was situated. For Setl City, this is the fifth completed redevelopment project (Lake House, Avangard, Atlanta and Atlanta 2 residential estates have been commissioned), and another six such projects are under construction.
